JOHN R. CONNELLY, age 95, of Secaucus, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 26, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 1219 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ 07094 on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. A visitation will be held at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Rd., on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 4-8 PM. John was an Accountant for the United States government at Fort Wadsworth in Staten Island, NY for many years before his retirement in 1974. John was a trustee of Immaculate Conception Church and a member of the Holy Name Society there as well. He was awarded the Jubilee Medal Pro Meritis for his distinguished service within the Archdiocese of Newark. He is survived by his dear friend, Stanley Gasiewski. He was pre-deceased by his dear sister, Edna Connelly. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Immaculate Conception Church in Secaucus,
