 I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I remember Jonnie as a 7th grade student in my Language Arts class. Jonnie's eagerness to learn was quite remarkable. His gentle personality and bright smile will always be remembered. I'm sure he is still smiling.

Today is the first day that I was able to do this. Oh my god, The Scheiner & Casey Family, since the wee... hours of the morning of the 18th day of August, being with you all as we learned what had happened to little jonnie  has been the most saddest that we have ever endured.  The only things I can say to you all, Oh what a BOY/MAN. His smile was contagious, he was raised with wonderful manners and so much love that he knew how to love in return.  We are so blessed to have his memories live within us everyday, and that is thanks to you Carol Ann & John, you have made this liitle boy into a wonderful young man and now he is with the rest of his family in another life in heaven.  Jonnie will live through you everyday and he will sure not be FORGOTTEN. My God, remember the BEAUTIFUL TRIBUTE to Jonnie, wow, he was loved by all. There are definitely no words to express this tragic, except, we are deeply sorry for the pain and sorrow you are going through, but rest assure, you are not alone!!! I only knew Jonnie for several months, when he was the drummer for my son's band, SKYLER. I saw him on a weekly basis for band practices in the basement, plus performing at various shows. He was a wonderful young man, excellent drummer, always happy and very respectful to everyone. My thoughts and deepest sympathy to Casey and the Scheiner family at this terribly sad time.

Words can not express how horrible this feels. I am so sorry for this loss. I keep thinking about playing around as children with Casey and Jonnie and it hurts even more. My brother wrote: R.I.P Jonnie, my godbrother, my friend and most of all a talented person I looked up to. Play me a solo in the skies one day buddy and I'll be there to bring you the bass. We grew up together and I'll always remember the impact you had on my life. To the laughs we shared. Love you Jonnie. Last time i really spoke with Jonnie he'd joke that we were "united by christ", since Carolanne is my brother's god mother, and now one day we'll be united in heaven.  Any day that I spent with Jonnie at the high school was always a better one because of him. Kind, ready to help anyone and always gave me a good laugh. He was so excited to be involved with the Fire Dept, and he would hold his walkie talkie and pray for a call. One day while driving in town I saw him slowly walking down the street. When he stopped, turned around and sprinted like he was running for his life, I knew he must have gotten a call. 
  We will all miss him.
