Born in Colombia he has resided in Jersey City for many years.
Jose was the chief mechanic for Republic Container in Jersey City for many years before retiring in 2002. He was a member of St Aloysius R.C. Church in Jersey City.
He is survived by his beloved wife Maria Copete Duran; his son Harvey Duran and his daughter Norma Duran; and 3 grandchildren;
Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 8th, from 5 to 9 pm at the Mack Memorial Home 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus; A Memorial Mass will be announced at the St. Aloysius R.C. Church in Jersey City.
