Joseph Dawson, 86, a life long resident of Jersey City entered into rest on Wednesday February 22, 2012. Dear husband of Geraldine Dawson. Devoted father of Geraldine DiMaria and her husband Charles, Florence Dawson, Roseanne Pretto and her husband Eugene, Jeannie Paszkiel and her husband Gary and the late Joseph John Dawson. Loving grandfather of Gina, Heather, Melissa, Jennifer, Danielle, Charles, Joseph and Stephen. Adored great grandfather of 8 Great grandchildren who loved him very much. Dear brother of Jean Zuzeck, Phylis Conzano and the late Jerry & Rose. Joseph served his country proudly in the US Navy during WW II and was a Bus Driver for Drogan Bus Company in Bayonne. Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ. The family will gather at the funeral home with their relatives & friends on Saturday at 9:30 AM for a 10:00 AM Funeral Service. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
