Joseph R. Dempsey, 88 a 46 year resident of North Bergen, NJ entered into rest on Tuesday March 13, 2012. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Sawyer) Dempsey. Devoted father of Patricia Niclas, Kathleen Faiano, Eileen Dempsey and the late Maureen Hendershott . Dear father-in-law of Charles Niclas, Robert Faiano and Lewis Hendershott. Loving grandfather of Charles III, Joseph, Anthony, Daniel, Lori, and Michael. Dear great grandfather of Sophia, Isaiah and Simon. Joseph is also predeceased by 1 brother & 3 sisters and is survived by many nieces & nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus. The family will gather at the funeral home with their relative & friends on Friday at 9 AM for a 10 AM Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Secaucus. Interment to follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joseph May be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 13067 Alexandria, VA 22312-9067.
