Laura J. Urban

Laura J. Urban (nee Wienczkowski), 86, of Secaucus, NJ, formerly of Jersey City, NJ entered into rest on November 30, 2013. Devoted wife of the late John T. Urban. Beloved companion of Anthony Argenziano.. Dear sister of the late Alexandra, Theodore and Edmund. Sister-in-law of Anne Wienczkowski and Dorothy Studier. Laura is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Laura was in the first graduating class of the Cadet Nurse Corps. She was an Ambulance Nurse for Jersey City Medical Center and was the School Nurse for The Secaucus Board of Education. Laura was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church, a member of the Rosary Society and a member of the Golden Age Club. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus. The family will gather at the funeral home with their relatives and friends on Thursday at 8:00 AM for a 9:00 AM funeral mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Laura may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1385.
