Lena O'Connor

Secaucus, NJ- Lena O’Connor (Cusimano) passed into eternal life on Saturday, February 6, 2016. She was 92. Lena was born in Hoboken to Nunzio and Rose (Costello) Cusimano and resided in Union City for many years prior to Secaucus in 1990. She was employed for over 20 years as a receiving clerk with Sears in North Bergen, retiring in 1985. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception parish in Secaucus, and a member of the Secaucus 60+ Club. Lena is predeceased by her beloved husband, Andrew J. O’Connor in 1988, Sisters; Rose Natale, Anne Monteparo and Brother, Michael Cusimano. Surviving are three sons; Michael J. O’Connor and his wife Nancy of Barnegat, NJ, Brother Juniper O’Connor OFM, of Florida, and Andrew J. O’Connor and his wife Mary Catherine of Germany. Three grandsons; Michael, Craig, and Andrew O’Connor and granddaughter Laila Reed Hansen. Two great grandsons; Michael and Tyler O’Connor. Family and friends are invited to Mack Memorial Home 1245 Paterson Plank Rd Secaucus, NJ Thursday, 2~4 7~9 pm. A 9:30 am Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Friday at Immaculate Conception Church, Secaucus followed by entombment in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
