Maria C. Sherman

Maria C. Sherman, age 66, of Secaucus, NJ passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023. Maria was born to the late Kenneth and Felicia Mead in Hoboken, NJ and lived most of her life in Secaucus and Carteret. She was an Accountants Payroll Manager for FreshPet for 16years before retiring in 2022.

Maria was the loving wife of 22 years to the late Roy F. Sherman; loving mother of William "Billy" Salvatori and his wife Arge, Dana Flanagan and her husband Thomas, Roy Sherman Jr., and Kelly Marie Watson and her husband Joedy; cherished grandmother of Thomas, Tyler, Harlow, Finn, Naso, and Kassidy; Devoted sister of the late Anthony Mead, Angela Norman, Ida Baker, Elizabeth Mead Scott, and Kenneth Mead Jr. and their spouses; she also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Maria enjoyed baking and was well known for her brownies and cinnamon cake. She loved her family greatly and adored her grandchildren, “to the moon and back”, as she would often say.

A visitation for Maria will be held on Monday, April 24th from 4 to 8PM as well as a Prayer Service at 7:30PM here at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ 07094.
