Marina Tynan

Marina Tynan, 94, passed away on Oct 27, 2025 at Hudson View Nursing Home, North Bergen, NJ. She was born on Feb 14, 1931 in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, to the late Maria and Manuel Munera. She lived in Union City with her late husband Raymond Tynan who worked for the Steamfitters Union. They also enjoyed their summer home in Lake Hopatcong for many years.

Survivors Include her sister Amparo Mass, Nephews & nieces Dennis, Michael, George, David (Edwin), Mary, Ramona, Vivian and Lizette. As well as her special friends; Anna Walling and Raquel Aceveda.

Marina worked as a home healthcare aide for several years. She was a caring and compassionate person to her family, extended family, and friends. She deeply loved her pets and all animals.

Marina’s life celebration will be at Leber Funeral Home, 1245 Patterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ, 4-8 pm on November 3, 2025. Mass will be held on November 4, 2025 at 11:00 am, at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 530 35th Street, Union City, NJ. She will be laid to rest on November 5th at 1:00 pm at Holy Cross Cemetery & Mausoleum, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ.
