Marion E. Merletto

Born in Jersey City, NJ to Elizabeth (nee Paul) and William Heinsohn, and raised in Union City; Marion would go on to settle in Secaucus where she resided for the past 53 years.

Marion worked at McGraw Hill Publishing in New York City for 11 years. Following that, she worked at an answering service until she moved onto United Parcel Service as an Executive Administrative Assistant where she remained until her retirement. Marion was an avid reader, lover of crossword puzzles and word games, as well as an active member in her community through her political associations and editorial commentary. However, she most loved spending time with her family and going out to eat with friends. She will be greatly missed.

Beloved wife of the late Ralph Christopher Merletto; loving mother of Jodi Vicchio and her husband John, Tracey Byle and her husband Patrick, and Scott Merletto; cherished grandmother of Peter, Zachery, William, Jack, and Ryan; and dear sister of the late Thomas Heinsohn.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 16 from 4 to 8 PM, at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Road, Secaucus, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 17 at 10 AM, at Mack Memorial Home. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Marion’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
