My Mom was not only a wonderful Mother and Grandmother, she was my best friend. She had a kind heart and a gentle soul. I remember once when we were at a fair in PA. I turned to look at her. She was looking past me with tears in her eyes. I asked "Mom, why are you crying?" She pointed and said "Look at that man ... he only has one leg." She was upset because a total stranger suffered the loss of his leg. That was the kind of person she was. I will miss her dearly.

Sending you my deepest sympathy. Your Mom was one of the sweetest woman I know. The last time I saw Mary was about 10 years ago (if not longer). I passed through the old neighborhood & decided to stop. Terry went and called your Mom, who came outside. She gave me the tightest hug. Good memories from childhood of a good woman! May she RIP.
