Mary Coney

She was born April 7, 1933 in Limerick, Ireland to the late Edward and Margaret (O'Riordan) Halvey.

Mary enjoyed spending time with friends at the Painesville Senior Center. She enjoyed doing word searches and watching game shows. She was a Wii (trash talking) bowling champion and a master “la la” singer to all babies. She was always a huge part of her grandkid’s lives. She would always take all prayer requests and many believe that she is the sole reason things worked out.

She is survived by her daughter Donna (Chris Favorite Son In Law) Swan of Painesville Twp and her grandchildren Jason Trocchia, Nicole (Eric) Mattessich, Zachary Swan, Ava Swan and her great granddaughter Brooke Mattessich along with many nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her 8 siblings and the love of her life Charlie Coney.

A Visitation will take place from 9-10:30AM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ 07094 with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:45AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 1219 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ 07094. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington, New Jersey. A celebration of life will be held at a later date for her friends and loved ones in Ohio.
