Mauro Salvemini

Mauro Salvemini, passed away on January 16, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on September 7, 1935 to the late Nicola and Giovana (Grossano) Salvemini in Molfeta Italy, Mauro moved here to New Jersey in 1961 where he went to college and became an Electrical Engineer before retiring many years ago.

Mauro was the loving husband of the late Marleen Salvemini, Father of Nicholas G. Salvemini and his wife Roberta, Guy N. Salvemini, Gina Barr, and Andrew Kane; Grandfather of Nicholas Christopher, Gabriella Rose, Chassidy Saige, Joey Christopher, Tristan Shane, Nicole, & Noah; Brother of Maria Busnelli and her late husband Alessandro and her life partner Leo Rossano, Lisa Stefanucci, and Sal Salvemini and his wife Virginia; Mauro is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:45am at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, located at 1219 Paterson Plank Rd, Secaucus, NJ all who would like to attend are requested to go directly to the church, as there will be no services at the funeral home.

His cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in his honor to The St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or The American Diabetes Association.
