Michele Minervini, 88 of Weehawken, NJ entered into rest on Sunday January 10, 2016. Beloved husband of Carolina (nee Vernola) Minervini. Devoted father of Mauro Minervini, Louis Minervini and his wife Nancy and Rose Rosetti and her husband Randy. Adored grandfather of Lena, Leah, Michael, Louis, Gianna, Michael and Helen. Loving great grandfather of Troy, Reese and Cooper. Michele is pre-deceased by 8 brothers & 1 sister. Michele was a Longshoreman for New York Shipper Association in Hoboken, NJ. He was a Professional Soccer Player in Italy. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4-8 PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus. The family will gather at the funeral home with their relatives and friends on Wednesday at 8:30 AM for a 9:30 AM funeral mass at Immaculate Conception Church. Entombment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Michele may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association, 400 Morris Ave, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.
