It has now been 731 days since I last got to hug my mother—a moment that still feels close enough to touch yet painfully out of reach. Grief has been an incredibly heavy companion, one that arrives without warning and settles into the deepest corners of my days. There have been moments when coping felt impossible, when the weight of her absence pressed so hard it stole the breath from my chest.

But even in the darkest parts of this journey, I have found light. Friends and family have stood beside me, offering comfort in ways big and small, reminding me I am not walking through this loss alone. And through every wave of pain, every quiet night, and every heavy morning, God has been my steady ground—guiding me, holding me together, and giving me the strength to keep going even when I didn’t feel strong at all.

I miss my mother more than words can ever fully hold. There isn’t a single day that passes without thoughts of her drifting through my mind—a memory, a lesson she taught me, her laughter, or just the sound of her voice echoing somewhere in my heart. Her absence is something I’ve learned to carry, but it will never weigh less.

One of the greatest gifts anyone can give me—one that warms my heart each time I hear it—is when people tell me I look like her. It feels like a small piece of her is still here in me, shining through in ways I never realized. It’s a reminder that her love, her spirit, and her beauty live on, not just in memory, but within me.

731 days without her arms around me, but a lifetime left of carrying her love. And though grief remains, so does gratitude—for the people who support me, the strength I’ve found, the faith that grounds me, and the incredible woman whose presence shaped my world.

Hi mommy , I miss u more than words can express, I still can’t fathom it I’m blessed for all the memories we did have together and all the secrets we have shared you will forever and always be my best friend, this holiday season was the hardest 2 months of my life now I’m suppose to go into 2024 happy like new year new me NOPE . Christmas was really hard we went to nyc for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and everyone just kept asking me how I was and to be honest i think them all asking me how I was made me even more depresssed there were a few times I just stood there and blacked out just thinking I was in the worst nightmare of my life where my mother wasn’t coming back it’s even harder to be going back to Arizona part of me is really happy to go back and see my friends but the other part of me wants to just be here with my family during this time . I’ve learned to be more authentic and open with how I’m feeling telling my friends and family the good bad and ugly I love u with my whole heart

In this time of deep sorrow and mourning, I come before you with a heavy heart. I have lost my beloved mother, and the pain I feel is overwhelming. I turn to you, the source of comfort and strength, seeking solace in your presence.

Lord, I thank you for the gift of my mother's life. She was a beacon of love, kindness, and wisdom. Her presence brought joy and warmth to our family, and her absence leaves a void that cannot be filled. I am grateful for the memories we shared, the love she showered upon me, and the lessons she taught me.

As I navigate this journey of grief, I ask for your guidance and support. Help me find peace amidst the pain and strength to carry on. Grant me the ability to cherish the memories of my mother and to honor her legacy through my actions and words.

Lord, I pray for comfort for my family and loved ones who are also grieving. May we find solace in each other's presence and draw strength from our shared memories. Surround us with your love and grace, and help us find healing in the midst of this loss.

In this time of mourning, I surrender my pain and sorrow to you, knowing that you are the ultimate source of comfort and healing. Help me to trust in your plan, even when it feels difficult to understand. Renew my hope and faith, and remind me that my mother's spirit lives on in your eternal embrace.

I just wanted to say thank u for everything you’ve done in my life for me to become the young lady I am today advice for everyone reading this !! Cherish the moments you have with your family you never know when it will be your last and yeah it’s crazy scary to think about so I never wanted to but it now has happened and I’m devastated and heart broken it’s been the longest saddest 18 days of my life without you next to me either complaining about anything and everything or just being there with me to watch a tv or to talk about how schools going I miss those 2 hour phone calls we would just go back and fourth while I was in Arizona I love u so is much and I miss u more than words

A second mother to me and one of my favorite people. I will always cherish and hold close to my heart every single memory I shared with you. Noelle created the light.  She gifted Gia with her first Elf on the Shelf, a treasured toy that served as the basis of hundreds of hours of play.  On countless occasions, Noelle took the time to call Gia and stay on the phone with her for hours, keeping a smile on her face when no one else could.  Noelle taught us how to crochet.  A constant giver.  She always found a reason to laugh, even in the most difficult times.  Noelle is love and she is loved.

Dear Mom,
I hope this letter finds you in a place of eternal peace and happiness. It has been 4 painful nights as I stay awake with tears in my eyes but, not a day goes by without me thinking of you. I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest love and gratitude for everything you were to me.

You were not just my mother; you were my guiding light, my confidante, and my best friend. Your love was unconditional, and your presence brought warmth and comfort to my life. I cherish the memories we shared, the laughter we enjoyed, and the lessons you taught me.
Your kindness and compassion were unmatched. You had a way of making everyone feel loved and valued. Your selflessness was an inspiration, and I strive to embody those qualities in my own life. You taught me the importance of empathy, forgiveness, and treating others with respect.

I miss our conversations, Mom. You always had a way of listening attentively and offering wise advice. Your words had a profound impact on me, and I carry them with me every day. Your wisdom continues to guide me through life's challenges, and I am forever grateful for that.

I often find myself reminiscing about the little things we used to do together – our walks in the park, our shared meals, and our laughter-filled movie nights.
