Born in Ilocos Norte, Philippines to Amparo and Lorenzo Manrique.
Paterno was predeceased by his son Butch Manrique; his sister Erothida M. Batuyong, and brothers Donelio and Lorenzo Manrique. He is survived by his wife Norma Manrique; his children Anthony Manrique and his wife Caroline, AnnMay Wentzel and her husband David, and AnnCarol Zumpano and her husband John; his grandchildren Jaden, Emelee, and Jacee Manrique, Alyssa and Joshua Wentzel, and Peter John and Vincent Zumpano; and his sisters Porfiria M. Bernardez and Aurora M. Corpuz. Paterno also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, close family members, and dear friends.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5 from 4 to 8PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 6 at 9:30Am at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Secaucus, NJ. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
