Ralph P. Hansen

Ralph P. Hansen, 84, of Secaucus, NJ formerly of Hoboken, NJ entered into rest on Saturday December 26, 2015. Beloved husband of Pauline A. (nee Calzetti) Hansen. Devoted father of Michael and his wife Linda, Dr. Holly Hansen and the late Pam Hansen-Jerkovich. Ralph is also survived by his grandson Michael Hansen and two more grandchildren, he is pre-deceased by his brothers William & Sigmund Hansen. Ralph served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. Ralph was a manager for A&P, after he retired he owned Luhrs Town Deli in Bogota, NJ and when he sold the business he became Head of Security at Equitable in Secaucus. Ralph was a member of Secaucus Engine Company 2/Rescue Company 1, a member of the Exempt Association and member of Secaucus American Legion where he served as Commander. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 PM to 8 PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus. The family will gather at the funeral home with their relatives and friends on Wednesday at 8:30 AM for a 9:30 AM funeral mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Secaucus. Interment to follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ralph may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (Attention Father Wightman)
