Dear Randy, 
I came across this page so many years later but I couldn't leave without writing something. I didn't get to know you as a grown up man but I knew you well as a child. You were so adorable that even when you got cranky, you were too cute to get mad at. You made me and Al, our favorite bus driver laugh all summer. You will always be in many many people's hearts.

I knew Randy because we became pen pals and began to become very close as friends. He knew how to brighten my day, he had such a big heart and he always made me laugh, I was suppose to meet him December 11th 2011 and was un able to due to his passing. I can't even begin to express the pain that it cause me. I help his mother and father on daily basis and one thing i did promise him is that i would always be there for them and i will keep that promise just for Randy. I felt like i got to know him more during his funeral because I watched his friends and family and how much they loved him and it just made me wish that i could of met him and began my own memories with him. I pray to god that i soon will be able to meet him one day. My life will go on but I have him in my heart every day and pray for him. I will never forget him and the impact he had on my life just with the short time we knew each other. I miss talking to him and receiving his letters everyday. god only knows that one day i will have my chance to finally meet this incredible person who was so loved and has a great family.

you were so loved and you are so missed randy... even though my days go on, i still think of you every day. I promised you i'd take care of your mom and pops and that's a promise i intend to keep always. I can still hear you saying " who's got it better then me'.. Even though we didn't get to meet in this life time, i know in my heart we will in the after life, i pray to god i meet you. I watch your children growing and wish you were here to see too. Rest in peace, and know that i will love you always my pen pal....

Randy, i miss you so much, you were the bestest friend that a person could meet.       I can not believe it has been a year since you left us. I think of you often  and i know you are up there with Grams and Uncle Pete. I believe you are eating well since you are hanging with my dad because he always made sure he had enough food.  I remember your mom taking all of us kids to Keansburg when you were very little and when she tried to get you on a ride you would scream to the top of your lungs because you did not want to go on and then she could never get you off the ride. She would go through 3 quarters of her tickets and you would go over and over on the same ride. Last time we were together was at Stephanie's Sweet 16 and you came right up to me and gave me a huge bear hug!!!!  You were taken too soon but you were needed up there for other reasons that we will never understand.  Please keep looking over us and guide us and whatever you do you must remember  DO NOT CASH THE CHECK!!!!!!!!!

Its almost been a year since you passed. I can not even believe it. I remember it like it was yesterday running out of work rushing to the house. Standing there in the rain and watching everything unfold. It was like everything was going in slow motion. It was one of the worse things i had to watch. You didnt come outside to say hi hooshka-bob. I miss you. You never judged, only loved. You and grandma must of been watching over me because i dont know how i'm still here. Your mass card is in my wallet so everywhere i go your there. I always read it. I remember christmas eve when you came out with us to olive garden and you kept asking for more bread sticks cause you wanted extra to take home or trying to speak chinese to the chinese delivery man and when my mom would tell you to stop you'd say it made them feel more comfortable. so sorry to hear about randy. i remember coming to 1st ave. and seeing him running around.  he was so cute. my condolences to cheryl, bobby and tracey. our prayers are with you all.

I did not know Randy but as someone who remembers his father from school days so many years ago I just want to express my sympathy to the entire Zitzman family. My thoughts are with you all in your time of sorry. So sorry to learn of your lose Bobby.
