Robert J. Notare Sr.

Robert J. Notare Sr., age 76, of Caldwell, New Jersey passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025. He was born in Newark to the late Carmine and Dora (Marmo) Notare and lived in North Newark before moving to the Silver Lake section of Belleville where he lived most of his life before moving to Bloomfield and finally settling in Caldwell. He worked as a computer programmer for ADP for almost 20 years before becoming a Store Manager for Pathmark, and then Lowes.

"U.B." is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Susan (Lepore) Notare; his cherished son, Robert "Bobby" Notare Jr. and his wife Tonimarie "Toni"; His Grandchildren Samantha "Sammie" Notare and Frank "Frankie" Notare; his brothers Carmine Notare, Jr., and Gerard "Jazzy" Notare; his sister in laws, Theresa Notare, Vincenza Notare, Beverly Recenello & her husband Frank,; and his brother in law, Ronald "Ron" Sudol; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

He was predeceased by his siblings Amelia Saliceti, Josephine Notare, Gloria Vinticinquo, Rose Meloia, Andrew Notare, and Richard "Richie Eyes" Notare, as well as his sister in law, Sandra "Sandy" Sudol.
