Santa Ann Gregory

Santa A. Gregory Ph.D died at her home in North Bergen, N.J. on July 16, 2026. Sandy, as she was known by family and friends, was predeceased by her mother, Mafalda Pacella Gregory, her father Joseph James Gregory and her sister Marianne Gregory. She is survived by her brother Gaetano (Guy) Gregory; sister-in-law Susan Gyss Gregory; her nephews Christopher Gregory and his wife Dr. Jesse Lane; Matthew Gregory and her great nieces Lena and Lillian Gregory.

Sandy was born in Jersey City. She attended Public School #25; St Dominic Academy and Rutgers University (Newark). She received a Masters degree and later her Ph.D from Seton Hall University.

Sandy was a friend, counselor and mentor to her extended family as well as to her many friends and co-workers. She loved children and demonstrated that love in her dedication as a school psychologist. In both her roles as a school and clinical psychologist, she provided compassionate care to countless clients. Her kindness, wisdom, generosity and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 27, 2026 at 11 A.M. at Mack Leber Funeral Home at 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, N.J.
