Susan M. Nielsen

Susan M. Nielsen, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on September 16, 1958, in Brooklyn, NY, Susan spent her life devoted to her family and to helping others.

Susan was the cherished wife of Niels Nielsen and the proud mother of Niels Nielsen, Robert Nielsen, David Nielsen, and Nicole DiCanio. She was a loving and devoted grandmother to Delphina Nielsen, Alfred DiCanio, and Sofia DiCanio. She is also survived by her dear sister, Donna Martinez.

Known for her boundless warmth and giving spirit, Susan found great joy in spending time with her family and volunteering in her community. Her kindness, strength, and laughter touched everyone who knew her, and her legacy of love and service will continue through the lives of those she leaves behind.

A Memorial Service to honor Susan’s life will be held on May 30th from 4 to 8PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Patterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ 07094.
