Vera Faye Cevoli

Vera Faye Cevoli (nee Pershall), 102, of Weehawken, NJ formerly of Union City, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 23, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Alfred. Devoted mother of Alan Cevoli and Susan Kowaluk and mother-in-law of Kathy Cevoli and Ray Kowaluk.

Loving grandmother of Katherine Kowaluk who was truly the light of her life and brought her endless pride and joy.

Dear sister of Forrest Pershall and Patricia Milam and predeceased by her remaining brothers and sisters. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Born in Oklahoma to the late Robert Dean Pershall and Della Knight, Vera grew up in Clay Center, Kansas. She worked in New York City as a Secretary for many years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life on Tuesday, July 28 from 4:00 to 8:00 at the Leber Funeral Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ.

A funeral prayer service will be offered at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Family and Friends may begin gathering at 9:30 Wednesday morning before the services. Vera will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Mausoleum, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ.
