

Born in New York City, Hell’s Kitchen on August 2, 1939 to the late John and Mary Spellman. Predeceased by her sister Mary Raheb, brother Johnny Spellman, sister Kathleen Spellman and inlaw parents Mary and John McLaughlin.
Veronica graduated Holy Cross School, NYC, class of 1953 and remained close friends with many of her classmates throughout her life. Always proud to be a native New Yorker,
Ronnie married the love of her life, the late Patrick McLaughlin, inheriting 14 sister in-laws, 12 brother in-laws and countless beloved nieces and nephews, after settling down in beautiful Weehawken, NJ. Her proudest accomplishments were raising her 5 beautiful children, spoiling her 7 grandchildren and 4 amazing great-grandchildren. She was extremely proud of the path many took in law enforcement.
Ronnie was employed as a NYC operator, secretary for McGraw-Hill, dental assistant, lunch aid, and retired as a security guard for the beautiful Weehawken waterfront park. She was a proud committee woman and an Avon representative for over 30 years. She will be missed and will forever be in our hearts.
Veronica’s life celebration will include Monday, September 15, from 4-8pm at the Leber Funeral Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ. A funeral mass will be held at St. Lawrence Church, Weehawken, at 10:30am. Veronica will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ.
