Virginia M. Backus. (nee Ianuale) 76,a life long resident of Secaucus, NJ and also Brick, NJ for 15 years entered into rest on Monday June 13, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Gerald Backus. Devoted mother of Glenn, Pamela & Frederick Teal & Robert Backus. Step mother of Edward Backus, Karen Riebesell and Gerald Backus.Loving grandmother of 16 Grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Dear sister of Richard Ianuale and the late Robert & Louis Ianuale. Virginia was past member of the Independent Republican Club of Secaucus, member of the Golden Age Club since 2002 and volunteered at Meadowlands Hospital since 2001. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 PM to 8 PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ The family will gather at the funeral home with their relatives & friends on Thursday at 9 AM for a 10 AM Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst, NJ. In lieu of flowers Donations in memory of Virginia may be made to Autism Speaks.org. Please send tributes & condolences to www.mackmemorialhome.com
