William J. Wilkes

William J. Wilkes 80, of Barnegat, NJ, formerly a 40 year resident of Secaucus, NJ entered into rest on Saturday November 14, 2015. Beloved husband of Catherine (nee Lynch) Wilkes. Devoted father of Joseph and his wife Linda, John and his wife Theresa and James Wilkes. Loving grandfather of 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Catherine Evans and the late Mary Wilkes. William served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a Manager for Western Electric/ AT&T for 40 years. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus. The family will gather at the funeral home with their relatives and friends on Wednesday at 8:30 AM for a 9:30 AM funeral mass at Immaculate Conception Church. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of William may be made to Meridian Hospice, 1345 Campus Parkway Suite A2, Neptune, NJ 07753.
