Audrey H. Maltos

Audrey Hazel Maltos was born on a hot summer day, June 26, 1933, in Savannah, Georgia, during the difficult years of the Great Depression. She was born to Wallace and Olline Page and was raised by her beloved grandparents, who helped shape the strong and independent woman she would become.

Audrey graduated from high school in Savannah, Georgia, where she was a young woman of many talents. She was a lead opera singer at her high school and proudly played first-string softball. Even from an early age, Audrey possessed determination and strength that would remain a defining part of who she was throughout her life.

After graduating high school, Audrey was swept off her feet by the love of her life, Louis Maltos. Together, Audrey and Louis built a life filled with love, family, travel, and countless memories. As a military wife and mother, Audrey stood steadfastly beside her husband and family through the many chapters of their lives. She was strong, independent, devoted, and resilient—a woman who could be counted on when her family needed her most.

Audrey found joy in many creative pursuits. She loved all types of crafts and especially enjoyed ceramics and needlepoint. Creating beautiful things with her hands brought her happiness and allowed her creativity to shine. She was also an exceptionally talented bowler. Her skill and love for the sport earned her many trophies, which proudly showcased just how good she was on the lanes.

Above all, Audrey treasured her family. She spent her life loving, supporting, and creating memories with the people who meant the most to her. Her strength, independence, creativity, and unwavering devotion to her loved ones will remain a lasting part of the legacy she leaves behind.

On August 30, 2026, Audrey went home peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Though her family will deeply miss her presence, they can find comfort in knowing that the love she gave them will continue to live on through every generation that follows.

Audrey was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis Maltos; her grandparents; and many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She leaves behind her three children, Teresa, Louis and wife Suzanne, and James and wife Robbie; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Audrey Hazel Maltos lived a life marked by strength, love, creativity, and devotion. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, military wife, talented artist, athlete, and friend. Her life touched many, and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

Her journey on this earth may have come to an end, but the love she gave and the legacy she created will continue through her family for generations to come.
