

Barbara was independent and at times stubborn. She made sure that her family was always taken care of and was always willing to help anyone. She enjoyed shopping and visiting with friends and family. Her family was her pride and joy. She always had at least 1 or 2 grandchildren with her at all times. If she wasn’t at home, she could be found carpooling or attending school and/or sports activities. Barbara enjoyed Betty Boop and going to Elvis concerts. She also proudly earned her red/black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandson, Cody Butler.
She is survived by daughters: Marjorie Flanagan and Sheri Butler; grandchildren: Brandon Flanagan, Raceen Cosby, Patrick McCown and Megan McCown; and great grandchildren: Mackenzie Flanagan, Shelby Flanagan, Aurelia Pleets, Brylee Cosby, Cyson Cosby, Noah Padilla, Ty McCown, Wyatt McCown, Kameron Flanagan, Isces Woodall, Jacee Woodall, Colby Butler, and Devina Cook.
Visitation will be 2p-5p Wednesday, 8a-5p Thursday, and 8a-8p Friday at Resthaven Funeral Home.
Services will 11am Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Resthaven Funeral Home with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
