Betty Delores (Bryce) Bass was born May 4, 1930 in Shawnee, Oklahoma and passed away November 3, 2014 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Delores was born to Herbert Herman Bryce and Hester Virginia (Jones) Bryce and attend Bethel Schools until she married Harvey Murl Bass in Shawnee on November 16, 1946. Harvey and Delores made their home in Shawnee for the entirety of their lives. Delores worked for 20 years as a nurse for Dr. Frank Howard at the Shawnee Medical Center Clinic. She enjoyed spending time going country dancing, painting ceramics and caring for her three pets.
Delores is proceeded in death by her parents Herbert and Hester Bryce, her husband Harvey Bass, her son H. Ronald Bass and her brother Herbert E. Bryce.
She is survived by her granddaughter Shellie McClary and husband Ron McClary of Norman, three great-grandsons Johnathan McClary, Andrew McClary and Thomas McClary of Norman, sister-in-law Ola Mae Bryce and other family including Linda Chard, Kalyn and Rhett Murphy, Kayden, Declan and McCabe Murphy, five nieces and one nephew and their families.
