Betty was a faithful member of Wesley United Methodist Church for over 50 years and enjoyed volunteering at their clothes closet. She loved spending time with her family and reading. Betty married the love of her life, Dale Gibson on December 23, 1956 in Tulsa, OK and spent the last 58 years together before he passed away.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Betty is survived by her children, Donna Dodd of Moore, OK and Dan Gibson of Seminole, OK; grandchildren, Steven Dodd and his wife Kristie, and Cassandra Bisbee and her husband Jerron; great-grandson, Ryan Dodd.
Visitation will be 8am-8pm, Monday, December 18, 2017 at Resthaven Funeral Home, Shawnee. Funeral service will be 10 am, Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Shawnee, followed by burial at Resthaven Memorial Park.
