Bobby was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed woodworking in his shop, doing yard work and playing the dominos game, Moon. He was a WWII veteran, he served honorably from 1942 – 1946 in the United States Navy and from 1955 – 1958 in the United States Army Reserve. He worked for Sylvania as a supervisor for 19 years then for Mobil as an electrician for 12 years.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; son, Mitchell Dee Henry; grandson, Jermey Dee Gill; and daughter-in-law, Cheryl Mullinax.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 26 years, Zona Williams Mullinax; sons: Bob Mullinax and Richard Mullinax; daughters: Sandi Malleta (James), Debbie Arnold (Michael), Beverly Gill (Rick), and Tammy Gill (Jimmy); grandchildren: Jeff Mullinax (Anna), Michelle Lawson (Casey), Kristin Lugo (Wal), Chasity Collier, Jason Cooper (Shannon), Nick Cooper (Stephanie), Aaron Cooper (Jamie), Hannah Mullinax, Adam Mullinax (Melissa), Jacob Mullinax (Rebecca), Peter Mullinax, Heath Henry (Teresa), Coby Howry (Katy), Deedra Marker (Matt), Kendall McCurry, Jimmy Gill (Christina), Mitchell Dee Henry, Jr. (Cricket), and Nichole Gill; 35 great grandchildren; and his four legged friends, Bella, Abby, and Precious.
Visitation will be held, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2016 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held, 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Resthaven Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Newell officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
