

A true cowboy, Chad enjoyed anything involving outdoors. He loved to hunt, fish, ride horses and bulls. At age 23, he worked at the Right Path Riding Academy, a therapeutic environment for handicapped children. Chad became a father for the first time on March 13, 2007, when his son, Christopher was born. He met his love, Susan Robinson, in July of 2008. They were blessed with Cheyenne, born on October 30, 2009. Chad and Susan are expecting another child in October. Chad thought of Susan’s children, Kallie and Kadon, as his own. He loved spending time with his family, especially his Grandpa.
Chad is survived by his parents, Randy and Sharon Carlton; his grandparents, Dwain Hobbs of Macomb, and his wife, Linda, Kathy and Paul Traugh, and Linda Champlin of McLoud; his fiancé, Susan Robinson, and children, Kallie, Kadon, and Cheyenne; sister, Robyn Snyder and her husband, Kyle; brother, Anthony Espitia, and wife, Jamie, brother Bradley Carlton, and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 5-8pm. Services will be held at Resthaven Chapel at 10am, Friday, July 2, 2010 with burial to follow at Tribbey Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home, Shawnee, OK.
