

Charles "Charlie" Lee White Sr., passed away on March 27, 2025, at the age of 66. Charlie was born on December 18, 1958, in Shawnee, Okla., to Willie White and Pat Beecher. He attended Acme Elementary and Shawnee High School and in his adult years he was a Cub Scout Cubmaster in the Shawnee area. Charlie heard his countries call and joined the U.S. Marine Corps, he received Good Conduct and Sharpshooter medals. He enjoyed being stationed in Okinawa and the Philippines and aside from the birth of his children and granddaughter, Lily, serving his country was Charlie's proudest moments. After serving, Charlie spent the next 42 years working for Exxon Mobil/Jindal. In his free time, he enjoyed cycling, learning about war history, shooting his guns, and spending time with family and his dogs. He particularly enjoyed their family trip to Disney World. Charlie is survived by his children, Ryan White and wife, Anna; Garrett White; brother, Jay White and wife,Evelyn; granddaughter, Lily Grace White; nephews, James White and John White. He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie White and Pat (Beecher) Waconda; son, C.J. White; and sister, Carey White. Services for Charlie will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, Shawnee, on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 3 p.m. Following at 4:30 p.m., Charlie will be honored by the U.S. Marine Corps Honor Guard.
