Shawnee resident, "C.J." Charles Lee White, Jr., 25, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2015. He was born March 20, 1990 in Shawnee to Charles and Debra White. He graduated from Shawnee High School in 2008. CJ was fearless when it came to the excitement of life. He could light up the entire room with his beautiful smile. No matter what CJ was going through, he made sure that those around him felt good and were happy. He was a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend who left us too soon and will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ernest Mellinger; paternal grandmother, Pat Waconda.
He is survived by his mother, Debra White and Michael Hale; father, Charles White; brothers, Ryan and Garrett White; grandmother, Marie Mellinger; aunts and uncles, Linda Ervin, Virginia and Bill Eswine, Danny and Kim Mellinger, Carl and Sue Mellinger, Carey White, Jay and Evelyn White; cousins, David, Michelle, Vicki, Nanci, Tina, Chris, Amber, Shelby, Mike, Robby, John, James, Candace, and Jason. Visitation will be 12pm-2pm on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Resthaven Funeral Home with a Celebration of life to follow at 2pm.
