He was born in St Francis, AR to William and Millie Ferrell on October 27, 1933.
Dan married the love of his life, Melva Ferrell and was together for 63 years. He built numerous homes in Shawnee over the past 40 years. He was loved by many.
He is preceded in death by his parents; 6 brothers; 1 sister; and daughter, Sherry Hayes.
Dan is survived by his wife, Melva; Steve Ferrell and his wife Sherri, and Alisa Stone and her husband Danny; grandchildren, Justin Stone, Lynsey Stone, Cassie Stone, Misty Hayes, Steven Ferrell and Lauren, Rachel and Colby Moore, Elisha Stone; great-grandchildren, Abby, Jade, Silas, Apple, Suri, Chloe, Taylor, Caitlyn, Jack, Shylee, Nathan, Shelby, Henry, Oliver; brother, James Cooper; and numerous friends and family.
Memorial Service will be 2:00pm, Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Liberty Baptist Church, Shawnee.
