Dixie was a wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family. She met the love of her life, Blaine Bryson, and the two were married September 4, 1958. After graduating from nursing school, Dixie worked for 33 years as a nurse. She loved the Lord, teaching Women’s Bible Studies and mentoring women.
Dixie was preceded in death by her parents.
Dixie is survived by her husband of 57 years, Blaine Bryson; two daughters: Brenda Kaye Robinson Reynolds and her husband, Chris and Lori Ann Jay and her husband, Kirk; grandchildren: Blair Robinson (Lauren), Drew Robinson (Amy), Tyler Robinson (Fraley), and Brooke Robinson and Shandi Humphreys (James), Abree Roughton (Able), Adam Irwin (Cassandra) and Jayden Jay; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 18, 2016 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
