He graduated from OCU with a degree in marketing. Don was proud of his education, being a member of Bass Club and being a top salesperson.
He enjoyed country, and contemporary gospel music. A perfect day to Don was getting up early to go hunting and fishing. Sharing memories and telling stories would bring him much laughter. Don was a firm believer in never giving up, planning and sticking to your goals. He wanted to be remembered for sharing his knowledge with others.
Out of all the things he enjoyed and loved, his favorite was his grandkids and being called Granddad Oklahoma.
Don is survived by his wife of 31 years Thanna, two sons, Jeffrey and wife Jennifer Cline, Adam and wife Lisa Cline, seven grandchildren Andy, Allysa, Braden, Sydney, Anna, Ellie, and Grant, his beloved fur babies Sadie and Buddy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Donna and husband Phil, and one grandson Grant.
