Don was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a simple man of few words but when he spoke it was important. Don loved to fish and always worked hard with whatever job was before him.
Don was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Charles and Lloyd Nichols; and one sister, Lois Nichols.
Don is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lora Nichols; son, Donald Nichols, Jr.; daughters: Sharon Terry and husband, John and Sandi Reese and husband, Bob; three grandsons: Seth Terry and fiancé, Paige Bowden, Sammy Terry and Ryan Reese; brother, Jerry Nichols and wife, Aldean; and sister, Karen Massey and husband Ronald.
