Freda May Pickard

Freda was the youngest of twelve children, two who died in infancy. She met the love of her life at the young age of 16 in Prague, Oklahoma. Freda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and great grandmother. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. She enjoyed her time spent with her family and travelling with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Ruby, Iva Jean, Marie, Margie and June; brothers: Chester, Kenneth, Buck and Jackie; granddaughter, Candi Cotton; and grandson, Ron Wayne Reno.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Everett Pickard; sons: Jimmy Pickard (Jenny) and Bryan Pickard (Nancy); grandchildren: Kelly Reno, Brittany Holcomb (Billy), Kevin Fullbright (Monica), Brandon Pickard (Tara), and Travis Pickard (Kim); 9 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Resthaven Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Emmons officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
