Our beloved Papa was a man of many tales. His spunk for life and passion about his favorite things was always such a joy to hear about. He loved telling stories, gardening, being with his loved ones, playing cards and domino’s, his dogs and grocery shopping.
To be loved by our Papa was to be taken care of, to be filled with laughter, and to be unconditionally appreciated. The dogs of the family were not referred to as just dogs, but his own sons and even they could feel the deep love he had for them.
Henry proudly served in the Army along with his daughter, Michelle, who he raised and loved with such pride. His wife, Sherri, daughter, Michelle, and grandchildren, Jack and Lyric meant the world to him. Family holidays were filled with laughter and card playing until the nights were over.
Henry enjoyed spending time in his garden and finding the perfect mixture to make his plants happy. He loved shopping for the best deals at the store and always let his family know of the best weekly deals. He loved to win big in life and make of it what he wanted.
Our Papa was our Superhero; our Superman. An invincible man that wasn’t ever a day older than 23. Our Superman knew no boundaries when it came to his love and he will be deeply loved and missed. Rather than our superhero no longer being with us, he has simply shifted roles to our guardian angel. Forever and always in our hearts and with us in spirit.
