James Wesley Perry Jr.
August 25, 1962 – June 30, 2019
James Wesley Perry, Jr., 56, of Prague passed away June 30, 2019. He was born August 25, 1962 in Oklahoma City to James Wesley, Sr. and Pamela Perry. James was a loving father and son. He was a proud member of the Choctaw Tribe and enjoyed participating in the Trail of Tears Walk annually. James was known for his love and passion for mountain biking and building trails. James rode mountain bikes in 49 out of 50 US States and Canada. He helped build mountain bike trails throughout the state of Oklahoma. He owned the Red Dirt Cartel TrailBuilding. He was involved with a non-profit mountain bike organization the Oklahoma Earthbike Fellowship (OEF) and one of the founding members of this group. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters: Briana Setliff (Kristopher) and Sheldon Perry; mother, Pamela Perry; wife, Carmen Floris; her four children: Anastasia Valentine (Zak), Jessica Loughman (Justin), Madison Motohashi (Katsuya) and Dillon Carroll; and her grandchildren: Raven and Lara Loughman. James was preceded in death by his daughter, Dakotah Perry; father, James Wesley Perry, Sr.; brother, Damon Perry; and sister, Tina Annette Perry. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Resthaven Funeral Home. A visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 10:00 am until 12:30 pm on Saturday.
