Jasper Liam Goodson

Jasper Liam Goodson was born in the arms of angels at the Salina Regional Hospital in Salina, KS on December 14th, 2018 at 8:21 AM. He weighed 7lbs, 3 Oz and was 21 inches long. He was our miracle from the very beginning, and though was called by our Lord upon birth, he touched many lives and was deeply loved by his family and friends. He will forever be greatly missed and will never be forgotten.

Jasper is the son of Jake and Jayleen Goodson of Shawnee. He is survived by his parents, his sister, Jaylee, Grandparents John and Linda Goodson of Earlsboro, Jack and Diana Smith of Bethel and Todd Hayes of Chickasha. Uncle and Aunt Josh & Lindsay Goodson of Earlsboro, Aunt Alyvia Hayes of Shawnee, and Cousins Piper, Gus and Channing Goodson, Great-Grandmothers Sharon Boyer and Elizabeth Fowler of Chickasha: To also include many Great Aunts and Uncles and cousins. The family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank you to a very special woman whom cared for our Jasper like he was her very own. We will forever be grateful for all of her love, support and dedication.

He was preceded in death by Great-Grandparents John and Lillian Sehon of Tecumseh, John Goodson of Shawnee & Jean Carson Goodson of Holdenville, George Boyer, Jesse Fowler, and Bob and Norma Hayes all of Chickasha, Grandfather Jay Fowler of Chickasha and Uncles Rick Sehon of Tecumseh, and Rob Hayes of Chickasha.

“Through God’s grace you were ours for a little while. Now you live in everlasting light, forever God’s precious little child. You will live in our hearts, our thoughts and everything we do, and at the end of the day we pray to God and thank Him for the gift of you.”

A memorial Service will be held at New Hope Baptist Church on Friday, December 21st at 2:00 PM. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 20th from 2PM to 7 PM with the family present from 5-7 PM. Flowers may be sent to Resthaven Funeral Home, but the family only asks for prayers.
