Jerry R. Stone

Jerry R. Stone, 65, of Tecumseh, OK passed away February 21, 2012 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born January 5, 1947 to A.R. “Bob” and Lula May (Freeman) Stone in Shawnee, OK. He worked for Central Plastics as their House Keeper Supervisor until retirement. He attended the New Hope Baptist Church of Tecumseh, where he was a Sunday school teacher and participated in his favorite hobbies of missionary work and bible studies. He also enjoyed playing golf, but his greatest achievement was his family and his proudest moments were the birth of his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Stephanie E. Stone; and one brother, James Stone. He is survived by daughter; Heather Mick and husband, Neil, of McLoud; son, Joshua Stone of Tecumseh; daughter, Misty Stone, of McLoud; son, Jeremy Corona of Tecumseh; 5 sisters, Bonnie Gillespy, Betty Young, Bobbie Snider, Barbara Cantrell and her husband, Weldon, and Billie Steele; and 9 grandchildren. His funeral service will be 10am, Friday, February 24, 2012 at the New Hope Baptist Church of Tecumseh with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
