Mr. Jimmie Lee Farris

Jimmie Lee Farris, 73 years old, of Shawnee, Oklahoma died November 1, 2010 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born February 23, 1937 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to William and Edna Farris. He married Sandra Bales in 1987. He loved his family, hunting, fishing, and watermelon farming.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; sons, Randall Farris, Jimmy & DeAnn Farris, Philip Farris, Kelly & Melodie Farris, Jason & Jennifer Farris; daughter, Diane & her husband Terry Fox; grandchildren, Mandi & her husband Adrian Gascon, Tyler, Cole, Will, and Kate Farris; great-granddaughter Ava Gascon; brothers Hank and Don Farris, a large extended family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Wilma Westlake.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, November 4, 2010, at Lakeview Church of Christ, in Bethel, Oklahoma. Rev. Ben Glover will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Resthaven Funeral Home, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
