

John Byron Graham was born on October 27, 1976, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, to Johnny Byron Graham and Linda Carol McCabe. He passed away on April 5, 2026. John grew up in Shawnee and attended Shawnee High School, where he graduated. John worked as a truck driver, a career that reflected his hardworking nature and independent spirit. In his free time, he enjoyed listening to country, hip-hop, and Christian music, with blue being his favorite color. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life—hunting, fishing, and playing video games. John will be remembered as a loving, kind, and funny man who deeply cherished the time he spent with his family and friends. John also would smoke meats for his church when he was free. A perfect day for John was one spent making memories and having fun with his grandpa Ruben, a relationship that meant so much to him. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Byron Graham. John is survived by his daughters, Emily Parris and her husband Dawson of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, and Courtney Haynes and her husband Brandon of Shawnee, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his sister, Lisa Wesley and her husband Gary of Shawnee, Oklahoma. His legacy continues through his four grandchildren, including Renlee and Stetson, as well as many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved fur baby, Rufus. John’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. A Memorial service will he held at Cross connection church April 17th at 4:00pm, located at 329 N Pesotum Ave, Shawnee, Oklahoma 74801.
