Joe passed away April 9, 2014, in Watauga, Texas.
Joe was born October 18, 1933, in Jellico, Tennessee, to Haleen Mike and Hind Nappa. He moved to Shawnee as a teenager. He attended Shawnee High School and played football there. He was #87. He graduated in 1953. He then attended Murray State College and played on the football team. After graduating from college he went into the retail business. Joe loved to dance.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Rufus Nappa; one nephew: Rodney Nappa; and one niece Linda R. Nappa.
Joe is survived by one brother: Mike Nappa, Watauga, TX; one sister: Betty Strickland, Tyler, TX; five nieces: Nadia, Suzanne, Anne, Janette and Mary; four nephews: Jim, Mike, Michael, and Daniel; and two great nephews: Joshua and Joseph.
