Lou was blessed with two daughters, Mary and Christine, and a son, Cha-Tay. She was the proud Grandmother of five boys: Bradley, Konnor, Jacob, Christian, and Lucas. Including her children and grandsons, Lou is survived by one sister, Mary (Dolly) Haney, sisters-in-law Jennie Tillery and Peggy Hill, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her four brothers, Charlie (Chick), Marty (Cook), Bill, and Frank.
Lou retired from the Oklahoma State Department of Health in 2002 to do what she loved best, being a full-time Grandmother. Upon the birth of her first Grandson, her name changed from Mom, Lou, or Lahwanna to the name she loved hearing more than any other, Grandma.
Lou will be loved and missed by all.
The family would like to thank everyone who has shown support and kindness to them during this difficult time. They request you all join them for a meal prepared by very special family friends.
