Lillian, was born on March 1, 1927 to Oscar and Reba (Rust) Dodd in Shawnee and was the oldest daughter of 9 children. She married David M Turner on November 22, 1944 in Shawnee. After he was called to minister, they served several churches over the course of 35 plus years. Including 27 years at Johnson Church of God in Shawnee. They were devoted to the ministry and each other. David preceded her in death on April 27, 1995.
She loved her family fiercely, without exception or abandon. She was quick to offer comfort and advice during times of struggle, and express excitement and pride in times of triumph. She could quote scripture from memory, was known to recite beautiful poetry. As charming as she was beautiful, she was a wonderful cook, had a keen fashion sense, and a brilliant sense of humor.
Lillian reunited for eternity with her loving husband, her adored mother and father, beloved sisters and brothers and many other friends and family in heaven.
