She was born in January of 1925 in Three Sands, Oklahoma, and lived most of her life in or near Seminole. She had a lust for life and placed a high value on family and friends. She was an active member of Eastern Star and was the Worthy Matron several times.
Marie is survived by a daughter and son-in-law (Sharon and Steve Binder), a daughter-in-law (Leonna Taber), her sister (Esther Chastain), and her brother (Lester Remer), as well as many nieces, nephews, and great-grandchilden, whom she dearly loved.
She was preceded in death by her children, Mike, Walter, and Deborah Chastain, and in her final days expressed pleasure at the prospect of being reunited with them.
Graveside services will be help Tuesday, November 6, at 10:00 a.m. at Little Cemetery near Seminole with Carl Whitfield officiating.
