I am so sorry to see on internet of Joan's passing. I haven't received a Christmas card from her and I always have since we were all stationed at FT. Polk,La. We always stayed in touch. I was married to Paul Jackson, had two girls Shawn and Sheila Jackson. Your dad would call me when he would come to Little Rock ,we were living there. I lost my dear Shawn September 25th from breast cancer. We live in Enterprise,Al. Sheila lives about five minutes from me. I loved your mother and I can still see those little boys and my girls playing ,what fun we had. I know it will be a hard Christmas for all of us but God will get us through it. Shawn left a husband of 29 years and a daughter 27. She married may 19th. Sheila is married and will be a grandmother in Feb.
I am sorry again you have lost your mother.
Sincerely, Bea Jackson Rowden
