Martha was born April 10, 1922 in Talihina, OK, to John Samuel and Martha Mable (Ewer) Bell. Martha married H.B Chaffin and they had 4 daughters. Martha loved to garden and quilt. She liked to can her fresh vegetables so they would have them to eat in the winter months.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, H.B.; one daughter, Mary Ruth Chaffin; 3 brothers: S.E. Bell, Sylvan Bell and Frank Bell; 3 sisters: Vera Grace Bell Medders, Anna Lou Cantrell and Jewell Dean McCormick; and one grandson, Doug Guffey.
She is survived by 3 daughters: Verna Stinnett, Ann Heard and Cris Best; 8 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
